Here's Some History
Welcome to halesy.com, this is where I keep the world updated on all things Halesy! I like to dabble in technology and photography, and I'm able to share this stuff through this site.
When I find some useful tech, or some handy hints then I post them on my Wordpress blog and link to them here. While I also do a bit of web design e.g. this site, I've no plans on implementing my own blog!
I've played about with photography for a few years but it's that old adage, the more you know, the less you know! Yeah I can take a few snapshots, some luck shots are good pictures, but as I learn more I appreciate I've loads more to learn. Anyway, I also use this site for my SmugMug updates.
My background is basically growing up in Glasgow where I also went to Uni doing techie stuff, different tech in those days ;-) When I started working I headed off to Hemel Hempstead where I turned my hand to LASER scanning confocal microscopy! Then it was off to London to do telephony for a few years and then over to Hong Kong for more of the same. Back in Glasgow these days doing IT Management.
So I've been lucky enough to travel around the world a few times, mainly on business. Been some great places and enjoyed a few beers in them all. Settling down in Glasgow now, got other priorities these days...
